The Novomatic Forum is the perfect location where Economics, Arts, Culture and Science celebrate their
get-together. It is a place for good ideas – also yours. Because: since it became refurbished in 2009, this
unique art nouveau compound in front of the Secession building can be used as event location. The Novomatic Forum offers the ideal setting for so many kinds of unforgettable events. In addition to the banquet hall
with its stylistic elements from art nouveau as well as
art deco there are three salons in different sizes to host your event. They are all equipped with state-of-the-art event technology and are ideal for meetings,
conferences and training courses.

The banquet hall includes a gallery and offers enough space for up to 250 persons; it is the ideal setting for such elegant and stylish events as gala dinners, concerts, panel discussions, corporate events and press conferences.

The Architecture

The former “traffic office” is a unique monument designed by two Otto Wagner students – Heinrich Schmid and Hermann Aichinger.


The prestigious building from the interwar period (1922/1923) impresses with its art nouveau und art deco style elements. The listed building is opposite the Secession.
